Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park
Virtual Tour Stop, Spotsylvania Exhibit Shelter
Immediately upon entering the battlefield, there is an open air shelter of exhibits. The shelter is manned daily during the summer season and most weekends in the spring and early fall. When the shelter is not manned, visitors seeking information and maps should first go to the park visitor centers at Fredericksburg or Chancellorsville.
The shelter contains exhibits about the battle of Spotsylvania. Visitors should be aware that there is no running water for bathrooms. A seven-mile loop trail begins at the shelter.
