Fall hours of operation for all public buildings of the park go into effect on Tuesday, September 2 -- the day after Labor Day holiday. Fall hours will continue through Sunday, October 26.

* Fredericksburg Battlefield Visitor Center: Weekdays 9-5, weekends 9-6

* Chancellorsville Battlefield Visitor Center: Weekdays 9-5, weekends 9-6

* "Stonewall" Jackson Shrine: Daily 9-5

* Wilderness Exhibit Shelter (on Rt. 20) Historian on duty most weekends and holidays 10:45-6:00

* Spotsylvania Exhibit Shelter (off Rt. 613) Historian on duty most weekends and holidays 10-6

* Ellwood (Wilderness Battlefield): Weekends and holidays, only 11-5
