POINT MARION, Pa: An awards presentation and reception will be held on Friday evening, July 19, at the Arts Monongahela Gallery in Morgantown to honor the thirteen area photographers who submitted entries in “Friendship Hill through the Seasons”, a photo contest jointly sponsored by the Friendship Hill Association and Arts Mon. West Virginia University Photography Professor Michael Sherwin judged the submissions. Prizes will be awarded in both adult and youth categories.
Photographs entered in the show will be on display at the gallery from July 8 through July 31. In September the photos will be exhibited at Friendship Hill in conjunction with our annual FestiFall celebration.
During July visitors to Arts Mon will be asked to vote on their selection for “Best in Show.” Each $1.00 vote will benefit the gallery and its mission to facilitate fine arts partnerships among residents, businesses, West Virginia University, artists, and arts organizations in the Greater Morgantown community.
Please join us from at 201 High Street, Morgantown, WV. For more information, contact Arts Mon Executive Director Jeannie Kuhn at 304-291-6720 or email FHA chairman Beth Reseter.
