FestiFall 08 Recognizes the Contributions of American Indians
FestiFall 2008 will feature historic Native American cultural demonstrations. The annual event at Friendship Hill National Historical Site is a celebration of the life and times of Albert Gallatin, the original owner of Friendship Hill. FestiFall 2008 will also include demonstrations of the eighteenth century home skills and crafts as well as demonstrations of muskets used for defense and hunting.

Friendship Hill National Historic Site closed Tuesday for Road Work
Friendship Hill National Historic Site will be closed Tuesday May 27, 2008.  Site Manager Dan Watson said the closure is temporary and will last for two days or less.

Did You Know?
While Albert Gallatin was “content to live and die amongst the Monongahela hills”, his wife Hannah did not care for the country life at Friendship Hill. Gallatin wrote "...my wife's principle occupation...is to count the number of weeks and days which are to elapse before our departure...”
