How to Donate to the Park

Thank you for your interest in supporting Fort Washington Park. Your donation will enhance the programs and activities to protect park resources and the visitor experience at Fort Washington. The National Park Service has a proud tradition of celebrating charitable support and philanthropic contributions continue to make a significant difference at our parks today. We welcome and are truly grateful for your interest in being part of this legacy. There are several ways to support your national parks:

Direct Donations:

The park is able to accept direct donations. If you are interested in donating directly to the park, please contact the park manager at (301) 763-4600. We are unable to accept donations online at this time.

Did You Know?
Robert E. Lee and wife Mary had seven children, three boys and four girls. Six of the seven were born at Arlington House. Only Custis, their oldest son, was born elsewhere, at Fort Monroe, Virginia. All of the Lee children lived to adulthood.
