Description

From cannon demonstrations in our 1824 fortress to birdwatching along the Potomac riverfront, Fort Washington Park offers a number of programs covering both the natural and historic resources of our over 300 acre site. Almost all of these programs are available for your class or school to attend. Please check our schedule of events for any upcoming programs. Have questions or would like to schedule a particular program for your group? Please call our ranger office at (301) 763-4600. All groups and field trips must register two weeks before any upcoming program, and the maximum group size is limited to 25 people. Programs listed in the schedule of events are open to all park visitors.
