Some new hands-on features, soon to come to the counting house exhibit!

NEW INTERACTIVE COUNTING HOUSE EXHIBIT, IS HERE!

Come explore a new interactive exhibit at the Counting House museum! The goal for the three new displays is to help children get a better understanding about the lives of the people who lived here at Fort Vancouver. The new exhibits include a spinning cylinder that allows children to see how artifacts appear in the ground. In addition, come play with the brigade maze, a skill based game that asks children to use their deductive skills (as fur trappers would've done when they were trapping), to move their player along a board so as to be the first to trap all four furs and return to the Fort. Or come test your sense of feel, and correctly identify the fur swatches! Whether young or old, these hands-on exhibits spice up our display and add to the Fort Vancouver experience. .
