April 7 marks the 150th anniversary of the 1863 Ironclad Attack. Fort Sumter will present living history programs for each tour boat arriving at Fort Sumter on Saturday, April 6, and for the first two boats arriving on Sunday, April 7. There is also a special temporary exhibit at the Fort Moultrie Visitor Center.

The 33-star United States flag flown atop Fort Sumter during the opening bombardment of the Civil War in 1861, on exhibit at Fort Sumter
