September 8 - November 28, 2009:
FALL & WINTER 2009 PROGRAMMING

Willett Center:
Hours: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Daily

Self Guided: There are several motion activated audio/visual displays in the visitor center that explore life in the Mohawk Valley during the American Revolutionary War.

Fort:
HOURS: 9:15 a.m. – 4:45 p.m. Daily

Self Guided: Feel free to tour the grounds and explore the fort rooms at your own pace. There is one film in the contact building that explores life in the fort during the American Revolutionary War.
 

Throughout your visit, Park Staff will be available for questions.

Please call ahead at 315-336-4448 or e-mail the Program Coordinator to book a school group or any other guided group program (such as tour busses, ect.).
Self guided tour groups are always welcome as well!

Did You Know?
In the 18th century it was possible to travel to the interior of North America almost entirely by water. Fort Stanwix was built to protect the largest break in this chain, the Oneida Carrying Place. This was a 1-6 mile long portage area situated between the Mohawk River and Wood Creek in New York.
