  • Bridge Repair Work

    Beginning September 15, the main bridge into the fort will be closed for repairs. Visitors will be able to access the fort through the sally port entrance. An accessible ramp will be available upon request. Visit the Willett Center for assistance on-site.

Spring into the Season with the Backyard Rangers!

Are you ready for spring? Why not join the Backyard Rangers at the Willett Center on Saturday, March 15, from 10 to 11:30 am and from 1:30 to 3 pm and find out? Throughout the program, you will have the chance to learn about what foods the soldiers ate, start your own “fort” garden to grow at home, play some old-fashioned games, and have fun outside as winter melts into spring. Come spring into the season with the Backyard Rangers!

You can join the Backyard Rangers every third Saturday of the month, there is no cost, and no reservations are necessary. The next Backyard Rangers will meet on April 19, 2014. For more information about this and other programs, please call 315-338-7730 and ask to speak to a ranger.

Fort Stanwix National Monument is open five days a week, Wednesday – Sunday, from 9 am to 5 pm. Admission to the park is free. Activities are ongoing unless noted.
