Homeschool? Traditional classroom? Fort Smith National Historic Site offers several wonderful educational opportunities. These programs are designed to present history in a meaningful way for today's student.
While self-guided tours offer the most flexibility, ranger guided tours are the most popular educational choice. Scheduling in advance will give your students direct interaction with a member of our park's interpretive team.
NOTE: Touring with a member of the interpretive team is subject to availability, please schedule as far in advance as possible. May is our most popular month for program tours so plan accordingly.
Check out the Plan a Field Trip and Guest Speakers pages to learn more.
Don't forget to send in a Fee Waiver Request form for your educational field trip.
