Curriculum Materials

The park has developed educational materials intended for both on-site visits and classroom use.

The Living the Legacy curriculum includes modules on each of the three different time periods covered at the site. While designed for on-site visits, much of the material can be adapted for classroom use.

Lesson plans explore the history of early Fort Smith and often include a hands-on component. The lesson plans are aligned to Arkansas's State curriculum frameworks and standards.
