Traveling Trunks

The traveling trunk program is designed as an interactive interpretive program that provides a unique experience for both teachers and students. Fort Scott National Historic Site has trunks that bring the story of Bleeding Kansas to life. Each traveling trunk contains a variety of interdisciplinary activities that help students learn about a crucial part of Kansas History. Every user will pay the shipping for receiving the trunk and mailing it back to the site as well. This depends on the location but, the cost is normally $21.00 dollars each way.
