For Kids

Kids will enjoy seeing people dressed in period costume on our special event weekends and holiday weekends during the summer. They will like to hear the roar of artillery, learn how Civil War soldiers lived during Civil War weekend, or participate in living history activities such as historic games, bread making and laundress demonstrations, which are often held on holiday weekends. .Occasionally, we will bring soldiers with horses in for special events. And don't forget our spring education programs which are specially geared toward visiting school groups.
