No entrance pass required

An entrance pass is not required to access Fort Monroe National Monument.

Other National Park Service sites may require an entrance pass or fee. Depending on your trip plans, an interagency pass may save you money.

 

Fees

There is no admission fee to visit Fort Monroe National Monument.

Enjoy the fort, grounds, and beach areas at Fort Monroe. While visiting the park be sure to visit the Casemate Museum as well.

The Casemate Museum is operated by the Commonwealth of Virginia through the Fort Monroe Authority. Individual admission to the Casemate Museum is free. Group tours for pre-formed groups of 10 or more (and school groups Grade 3 and above) with a fee of $3.00 per person, please allow a two week notice when scheduling. Call 757-788-5591 for reservations.

The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Pass Series
Since Fort Monroe National Monument is a free park, we do not carry the America the Beautiful passes for purchase.
