The most memorable biographical war film about General George S. Patton during World War II.

Nominated for over 30 awards, Patton won 7 Academy Awards (1971): Best Actor in a Leading Role, Best Art Direction, Best Director, Best Film Editing, Best Picture, Best Sound, and Best Screenplay. Interestingly, George C. Scott was the first actor to refuse to accept the Nomination and later the Oscar awarded to him for Best Actor in a Leading Role.
