Curriculum Materials include both a Teacher's Guide with lesson plans, bibliography and teacher evaluation and lesson plans for Grades 4 and 8 written with the Maryland State Department of Education Voluntary State Curriculum standards.

Additional lesson plan sources are provided: Friends of Fort McHenry; The Smithsonian Institution; The Flag House & Star-Spangled Banner Museum; The American Legion; The National Flag Day Foundation; and The Pride of Baltimore II.
