The Virtual Trunk is a companion guide to the "Being an Historical Investigator" curriculum for teachers. The trunk is divided into three catergories: Around the Post, Daily Life at Fort Larned, and A Soldier's Uniforms and Equipment. By examining the images students can locate and evaluate items and structures that are pertinent to the near 20-year timeline that the fort existed. Students can visualize the military lifestyle during the expansion of the West. See what your students can discover about life at Fort Larned by using the Virtual Trunk Photo Gallery!
