Plan A Field Trip
Fort Larned National Historic Site welcomes school groups. In order to make your visit the best it can be, please review the following information to plan your field trip.
To make your field trip as productive as possible, we recommend introducing Fort Larned and its themes in the classroom before your visit. You might browse the Photos & Multimedia and History & Culture sections on this website to get an introduction to the site. The Curriculum Materials section includes lesson plans for classroom learning about Fort Larned.
School groups must register in advance for ranger-guided tours of Fort Larned. Contact us to make a reservation. Be prepared to provide us with contact information, the time and date of your visit, and an estimate of your group size. If you have any special requests or needs, please let us know in advance so we can best accommodate your group.
