Operating Hours & Seasons
The park grounds are open from dawn until dusk every day of the year. The Fort museum and Visitor Center is open daily,with the exception of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Day, at 8:00 a.m. with extended hours during the Summer, June through August.

Did You Know?
Like the more famous national parks in the western United States, visitors came to Platt National Park via the railroad at the beginning of the Twentieth Century. Both the St. Louis and San Francisco Railroad, (more commonly known as the Frisco), and the Santa Fe Railroad had spur lines to Sulphur.
