Food

We strongly recommend that you bring enough food and drink to sustain you throughout the day.

Food may be purchased at concession stands located at the following National Mall locations (please note that lines will be quite long):

  • Lincoln Memorial
  • Thomas Jefferson Memorial
  • Washington Monument
  • Smithsonian Folklife Festival

Water

We strongly recommend that you carry plenty of water with you during the day.

Water stations supplying potable water will be located throughout the National Mall.

Restrooms

Portable restroom facilities will be located throughout the National Mall.

In addition, restrooms with running water are located at:

  • Lincoln Memorial
  • Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial
  • Thomas Jefferson Memorial
  • Washington Monument Lodge
  • West Potomac Park between Independence Avenue, SW and the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool
  • Museums of the Smithsonian Institution
