Friends of Fort Donelson Campaign, Inc

Our Friends Group is dedicated to caring for and promoting Fort Donelson National Battlefield and related sites of the Tennessee-Cumberland RiverCampaign of 1862.  These historic treasures include Fort Heimanin, Kentucky, several sites around StewartCounty, TN as well as Dover, TN. All of which were important links in one of the most crucial battles and campaigns of the Civil War.  

To support their efforts, they need caring and generous people to join their ranks.

You can make a gift to benefit our park either directly to the Fort Donelson National Battlefield Donation Account a t P.O. Box 434,  174 National Cemetery Drive, Dover TN. 37058 or to our primary non profit, tax exempt support organization, The Friends of Fort Donelson Campaign, Inc.   If you make the gift directly to the park, the entire gift will be used for the purpose you identify. We are seeking help with the following project:

  ·       establishing bus transportation Endowment for Parks as Classrooms Program

·     Paint, maintain, replace  cannons and carriages, monuments and historic War Department Iron Tablets.

·      Establish, maintain and sustain eagle cam, web connection.

·   Support out-reaches curriculum-based education programs.

No administrative cost is deducted from your gift. Your check will be deposited in a government account and the full amount will be spent as you intended. Government accounts are non-interest bearing and cannot generate interest between the time it is deposited and the time it is spent.
