  • The Eagle has Flown!

    The juvenile eagle at Fort Donelson has fledged. The eagles now reside at the Confederate River Batteries, stop #4 on the driving tour. Visitors are encouraged to view and admire, but asked to keep a respectful distance, as this is their home.

Feather Discovery Junior Ranger Program

Come join us at Fort Donelson where we will have fun leaning about bird feathers and their importance. Did you know there are many different types of feathers? Come find out about their purposes and structures. As always, there will be a neat hands-on activity where you will get to create something to take home with you.   

Supplies are limited to 20 participants, so call or email Ranger Bill and let him know that you are coming!
