This visitor center is open daily from 8:00AM to 4:30 PM. The exhibit room at the Dover Hotel (stop #10) is open daily from 8:15AM to 4:00PM. All programs are free and open to all.

Fort Donelson National Battlefield will be participating in International Migratory Bird Day with activities throughout the park. A full listing of events is on the park website. Some activities require reservations, which can be made by calling (931)232-5706, ext. 109.

The Fort Donelson book discussion series continues, with the spotlight this month on John C. Waugh's The Class of 1846, which explores the pre-Civil War lives of notable persons from the Civil War, and how the War tested their friendships and relationships. Some free copies are available for participants at the Fort Donelson Visitor Center and at the Calloway County Library.
