Fort Donelson Co-Hosts "Project Wet" Workshop for Educators

Dover, TN - On June 12,  2012,  Fort Donelson National Battlefield will co-host a Project Wet 2.0 Workshop for educators.


Project Wet is an international, interdisciplinary, water science and education program for formal and non-formal educators of K-12 students. Katherine DeWein, a Project Wet education instructor for Austin Peay State University, will lead the workshop, which will be held at the Stewart County Visitor Center, along highway 79 in Dover.


There is a $10 non-refundable fee for materials, but lunch will be provided by the park staff.

Interested teachers, museum educators, or volunteers should contact Katherine DeWein at deweink@apsu.edu or contact Fort Donelson staff at 931-232-5706 x 104. The initiative is funded through the Austin Peay State University Center for Excellence in Field Biology.
