Teachers are encouraged to plan their visits to the battlefield months in advance because dates are reserved quickly. We accomodate schools from surrounding school districts in Kentucky and Tennessee. Please contact the Ranger staff at 931-232-5706 x 116 to schedule a battlefield visit. No fees are charged for park programs or school visits.
- Handicapped restrooms are available at the park picnic area, near the fort (tour stop #3).
- Groups can explore the Dover Hotel (tour stop #10) and the National Cemetery (tour stop #11). Both sites have exhibit areas. Restrooms are available at the National Cemetery, but not handicapped accessible.
