Slave Trade Curriculum
Musee de la Marine
The park has completed a slave trade curriculum to enhance the Kingsley Plantation education program and to provide educators with materials that can help students better understand the transatlantic slave trade in an intercontinental context.
These brochures must be viewed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. To download this program (free), click here.
The curriculum is part of a partnership program with Les Anneaux de la Memoire (The Shackles of Memory), a French organization in Nantes, France whose mission is to raise awareness of the history of the slave trade in a global context.
