  • Expect Large Crowds - June 20-24, 2013

    Expect large crowds and possible delays due to a motorcycle rally, Thunder in the Valley, in Johnstown, PA. The memorial has limited parking for motorcycles. An overflow gravel parking lot will be in use as additional parking for other vehicles.

  • Detour - Route 281 - June 17-July 29,2013

    This detour is after the US 219 junction, so visitors following the recommended driving directions (see link below) will not need to navigate the detour. The detour follows country roads and is not recommended for buses, RVs, and other large vehicles. More »

Recovery personnel ringing the

In past September 11 ceremonies, first responders, community leaders and recovery workers have participated by ringing the "Bells of Remembrance." The bells ring during the time of the crash, 10:03 AM, while the names of Flight 93 crew and passengers are read aloud.
