Untold Stories

The National Park Service has now collected oral histories from more than 750 individuals with a direct connection to Flight 93. Up until now, the voices of students who were in the Shanksville-Stonycreek School near the crash site that day, have been absent. Watch a brief video clip of an effort to change that.

The memorial design commemorates the collective actions of the 40 passengers and crew. The Memorial Expression is a tribute them.
