Operating Hours & Seasons
 

Summer Hours (June 6, 2009 - Labor Day, 2009):
8:00 AM - 6:00 PM every day of the week.

Fall, Winter, Spring Hours:   
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Days.  

Florissant Fossil Beds is only open to the public for day use. Park access is prohibited during closed hours except by permit.

Did You Know?
Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is actively involved in fire mitigation and conducts prescribed burns every winter.
