Summer Extended Hours:
June 8 - Labor Day: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Fall, Winter, Spring Hours:   
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, except for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Days.  

Florissant Fossil Beds is only open to the public for day use. Park access is prohibited during closed hours except by permit.

Did You Know?
The Hornbek Homestead is located within the boundaries of Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument. It was built in 1878 and owned by Adeline Hornbek a rancher and single mother of four teenaged children.
