Fire stories from the national parks highlight events, incidents, and the like, associated with fire and fuels management, as well as fire education, technology, partnerships, and more. Stories highlight work related to Department of the Interior initiatives as well as local and regional initiatives.

Len Dems, Intermountain Region Fire Management Officer presented the 2008 National Park Service Intermountain Region Fire Management Awards on January 28, 2009 during the Intermountain Region and Pacific West Region Fire Management Workshop in San Antonio, Texas.
