Artist in Residence Zach Tipton Offering Dunes Music at Great Sand Dunes Dec. 28
Singer and songwriter Zach Tipton will be Artist in Residence at Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve December 15 - 30. As part of his residency, Tipton will write and record songs inspired by the enigmatic and alluring landscape Great Sand Dunes has to offer.
Tipton will perform a set of his greatest hits at the Visitor Center on Saturday, December 28 from 1:00-2:00pm. The set will include new songs written on location. The performance is free; no park entrance fees will be charged that day.
Using his acoustic guitar, computer,and other instruments, Tipton's residency goals will be to create and record two songs to celebrate the beauty of the dunes and provoke interest in the national parks.
