Footprints on the Earth: Annual Earth Day Celebration
In many ways we can learn from the lifestyles of the ancestral Pueblo people and the careful footprint they left on the Earth. This annual celebration helps us explore ways we can all leave smaller footprints on the environment with fun activities for all ages. Archeologists teach adobe brick making, rangers play a recycling game with visitors, a local business displays jewelry made from recycled materials, and much more. Pueblo dancers will perform throughout the day and discuss their traditional beliefs for maintaining balance in the natural world.
