    Emancipation Proclamation Observance

    The Abraham Lincoln Birthplace National Historical Park will host an "Emancipation Proclamation 150th Anniversary Observance" to commemorate the issuance of the historical document.  Children can participate in the newly developed "Park Quest" scavenger hunt, express their ideas about President Abraham Lincoln, freedom, and the Emancipation Proclamation by creating artwork and posters that will be displayed at the park's Visitors Center.
