Parents and caregivers seeking free, engaging activities for their young children now have an event to add to their calendars: Whales, Tales & Sails, a weekly story hour on Friday mornings beginning at 10:00 am. The event features professional storyteller Karen Chace and includes stories, songs, music, crafts, fingerplay and snacks at New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park. The event is geared for ages 0-5, and is free of charge.
