Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 8:00 AM to 11:00 AMBring your cameras to Coldwater for our third Photo Blitz. The Mississippi River Fund is organizing one Photo Blitz in every season to record year-round scenes of Coldwater Spring's life and landscape. The National Park Service is restoring Coldwater Spring to an oak savanna prairie with bluff top woodlands.
Location: Coldwater Spring 5601 Minnehaha Park Drive SouthMinneapolis, MN Coldwater Spring sits between Minnehaha Falls Regional Park and Fort Snelling State Park. From Highway 55, turn east onto 54th Street and then take an immediate right onto the frontage road. Continue south on Minnehaha Park Drive south about three blocks to Coldwater's entrance.
