Hike to Alum Cave Bluff
Geology, old-growth trees, and panoramic views await you while joining a park ranger on one of the most diverse hikes in the Smokies. Wear sturdy shoes; bring water and a snack. Hike rated moderate to strenuous in difficulty.
This program qualifies as a Let's Move Outside! activity, a component of First Lady Michelle Obama's initiative to end childhood obesity in a generation. Led by the U.S. Departments of the Interior, Agriculture, and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Let's Move Outside! seeks to connect children to nature through healthy, outdoor recreation.
