All Homestead National Monument of America facilities will be closed on November 22, Thanksgiving Day. Visitors are welcome to hike the trail system from the parking lots at both the Heritage and Education Centers from dawn to dusk. Normal hours of operation (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends) for the Heritage and Education Centers will resume on Friday, November 23 with the beginning of the Junior Ranger Weekend and Winter Festival of Prairie Cultures.
