Ranger River Program - Fridays - Summer 2015
Come interact with a National Park Service Park Ranger during a Ranger River Program. Programs could be anything from short talks and demonstrations, storytelling, short hikes, bird watching, games, to safety messages. Common programs revolve around animal tracks and adaptations, rocks in a box (geology), mystery of the disappearing waterfall, bird identification, and fishing (often including a game to practice casting).
Meet at the Mississippi River visitor center and the ranger will lead the program from there!Location: Mississippi River Visitor Center (lobby of the Science Museum of Minnesota), Mississippi National River & Recreation Area | Map Time: 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM Fee Information: Free Contact Name: Mississippi River Visitor Center Contact Phone Number: 651-293-0200
