First in the Field: Celebrate Lexington History at the Jacob Whittemore House

The Jacob Whittemore House in Lexington is one of 11 structures within Minute Man NHP that are considered "witness houses," meaning they were there at the time of the April 19, 1775 battle. Park staff, joined by the Lexington Train Band (militia) and HM 10th Regiment of Foot will celebrate the rich history of the Town of Lexington with drill and musket firing demonstrations, family activities in the house, and tours of the Parker's Revenge battle site just yards away. This event is a part of the Town of Lexington's 300th Anniversary Celebration. For more information, visit http://www.lexington300.org/
