    Owl Prowl, Stargazing and Storytelling

    Thomas Stone NHS is proud to announce a special event entitled, Owl Prowl, Stargazing and Storytelling which will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2014. Starting at 6:30 p.m., there will be a number of events that will take place at the park.

    6:30 - 6:45 - Safety Orientation at Visitor Center

    7:00 - 7:30 - Stargazing at cemetery led by NPS Volunteer Michael Johnson

    7:45 - 8:15 - "True Tales and Local Legends" storytelling around the campfire led by NPS staff

    8:15 - 8:45 - Owl Prowl

    8:45 - 9:00 - Refreshments provided at the Visitor Center

    In case of inclement weather, the storytelling with be moved into the Visitor Center

     

    The park will be open for the event from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.. Interpretive house programs will be offered on the hour and half hour beginning at 10:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
