Theodore Roosevelt Island Park
Ivy League
English ivy is an aggressive plant that spreads over the ground to create large "ivy deserts" and climbs trees, growing heavy enough to topple them. Join a ranger and other volunteers to rip it out of critical bird habitat on Theodore Roosevelt Island. Please wear long pants, long sleeves, and sturdy shoes. Tools and training will be provided. Each volunteer will receive a free patch.
