Oxon Cove Park & Oxon Hill Farm
Exploring the Past at Oxon Cove Park
Students will discover what life was like on the Mt. Welby plantation during the early 1800s. Teachers can choose from fourteen activities based on the themes of immigration, slavery, the Underground Railroad, and the War of 1812. Pre-site and post-site activities are required to be completed by students. Costumed interpreters and a wagon ride make this trip fun, as well as educational!
Our education programs and are offered to organized groups, such as schools and home school organizations. This programs are offered October through June. Reservations are required and must be made at least two weeks in advance.
