Post Office

There are no mail boxes at Fire Island National Seashore facilities. Seasonal post offices are located at some neighboring communities on Fire Island. Post Offices are also located at gateway communities of Bay Shore, Sayville, Patchogue and Mastic Beach.

Did You Know?
Seals occasionally bask on Fire Island beaches in winter. Enjoy watching them from a safe distance. Remember to give these wild mammals plenty of room to retreat if you encounter one during your winter hike!
