Visitors may enjoy self-guided tours anytime Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 

Free Ranger-led tours are offered at 10:00 AM, 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 3:00 PM. The schedule is subject to staff availability.

Groups of 10 or more can make reservations for private programs by completing the reservation form and faxing it to (212) 668-2899. Reservations are available Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Groups must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. For more information about group reservations, please call (212) 825-6990.

Washington Inaugural Gallery

Learn about George Washington's first inauguration, and see models of the original City Hall and Federal Hall, as well as pieces of the actual building. 

The first Inaugural Bible is on display in this gallery, except when it is needed for special ceremonies or traveling exhibits. If you are coming to Federal Hall specifically to see the Bible, please call the Curatorial Division at (212) 668-2277 to verify that it will be on display.

Museum Store

The Museum Store at Federal Hall National Memorial is operated by Eastern National, a cooperating association of the National Park Service.  Merchandise includes postcards, reproduction colonial currency, DVDs, children's gifts, an extensive book selection, and the popular Federal Hall T-shirt! The Museum Store is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. For questions regarding bookstore merchandise, please call (212) 668-3179

Did You Know?
The Chesapeake Bay is the largest estuary in the United States and one of the largest in the world. It is uniquely shallow, with an average depth of 21 feet and only a few troughs deeper than 170 feet. The Bay has 11,600 miles of shoreline including tidal wetlands and islands.
