      <description>St. Louis, Missouri &#8211; The National Park Service (NPS) has announced that the London Planetree has been selected as the tree species that will replace the threatened Rosehill ash trees on the Gateway Arch Grounds.  The London Planetree was selected in consultation with the CityArchRiver 2015 design team, led by Michael VanValkenburgh Associates, with guidance from local tree experts with organizations such as the Missouri Department of Conservation and the Missouri Botanical Garden.</description>
