    Special Event (Civil War 150th)

    This weekend's programs will focus on the village 150 years ago, 1864. Many people think about Appomattox Court House in 1865 and the events connected to the surrender, but the year before, the little village struggle with the same issues that faced many small towns all over the South, and the North too. What was the toll of the war by 1864 on a small town like this?
