Gallery Yosemite is a new venue for creative artists to express their love for Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada. Timberline Gallery has been a community-centered art institution for 28 years and will present two shows in 2014, dedicated to the grandeur of Yosemite. Both galleries have partnered to honor the Yosemite Grant 150th anniversary with eight months of artistic learning series providing speakers and classes for visitors as well as locals.
Join us for our Artist Learning Series – to be held the 2nd Saturday of each month from 2 pm to 4 pm:
January 12, 2014:
De Karlen, a National Park Service Ranger, will honor Yosemite’s history by giving a talk about the history of the Yosemite Grant Act.

March 9, 2014:
How To See A Story by Zyg Zee
Zyg will inspire visitors and locals by teaching them how to take effective photographs in Yosemite National Park by telling a story through photography.

High Definition Range Photography by Andrew Erickson
Andrew will inspire visitors and locals by teaching them how to take effective photographs in Yosemite National Park through high definition photography.
June 8, 2014:
Panorama Photography by Mark Heilger
Mark will inspire visitors and locals by teaching them how to take effective photographs in Yosemite National Park through panorama photography.

Summer Children’s Event- Outside activities including art stations, painting, stenciling, clay bears, model magic and more
August 10, 2014:
“Art Treasures of Yosemite Museum” presentation by Richard Pettler, Vice President of the North Point Gallery in San Francisco. The presentation will include the art history of Yosemite and specific details of the “Art Treasures of Yosemite Museum” book.
September 14, 2014:
Barbara Beroza, Assistant Curator for Yosemite Museum will give a Yosemite history presentation regarding the mission of the Yosemite Museum and it’s contribution to the Park historically through present.
