Event Time:All Day
Step back into the 1860s to visit and experience an authentic gold rush town and to relive a glorious exciting part of early California history. Music, food, dancing, gold panning, re-enactments, period costumes, and adult/children learning activities are just a few of the highlights.
As a federal and state historical landmark, Coulterville has always honored Yosemite by various museum exhibits, demonstrations, and offering educational and informational materials to all visitors and community members. Yosemite has been an intricate part of the Coulterville heritage as one of the first routes to Yosemite was completed in 1959 by the Coulterville community.
Coulterville believes in preserving and education the public about the 49ers and Yosemite. Yosemite will continue to be a part of the future of Coulterville, just as it has been a major part of its past.
This event is sponsored by Coulterville’s nonprofits, merchants, and citizens.
