How To Donate

Everglades National Park and Dry Tortugas National Park accept donations made directly. Public support is an essential element in the management of National Park Service lands. No other federal agency relies as heavily on the generosity and kindness of its visitors.

Donations may be dedicated to enhancing interpretation (ranger guided programs), environmental education, visitor services, safety (SAR- search and rescue), research and resource management programs.

These can be made by check or money order, payable to:

"National Park Service"
Park Superintendent
Everglades National Park/
Dry Tortugas National Park
40001 State Road 9336
Homestead, FL 33034-6733

You can also donate to the South Florida National Park Trust, the park friends group that supports many park activities and outreach efforts.

We thank you for your past support and look forward to future partnerships.

Tree Snail

Did You Know?
Over fifty-nine color varieties of the Liguus Tree Snail have been seen in and around the Everglades ecosystem. They graze on the algae and lichen that grows on smooth-barked trees. During the dry winter months, they are usually sealed to these trees to conserve moisture.
